Who We Serve

The Short Answer:

The short answer is “we serve the Lord”.  He leads and we follow.

The Long Answer:

We coordinate with full-time missionaries who are in country constantly and can identify the needs of the people and ensure that we are not going to violate local laws.  Click on Mission Partners to learn more about these amazing full-time missionaries and community leaders.

Our primary task on our short-term mission trips is to build a house.  There are many Dominicans and Haitians, the poorest of the poor, who live in structures that I hesitate to call houses.  Often there are large openings in the walls and ceilings that let in animals, birds, and of course rain.  Through our efforts, guided by local contractors, we provide one family with a new home on each trip we make.

The dedication of the house and giving the new owners the keys is a great day…but of equal or greater importance is the love of God that we share with the people of the community where we are working.  We bring many donated items with us and distribute these items among the local families while sharing the gospel with them.

It amazes me to see how excited and grateful people are to receive some used clothing or shoes and the joy in the eyes of children when they receive some pencils or crayons or coloring books.

You will witness people living in severe poverty while praising God.
